CCometixLine Status Bar

CCometixLine is an optional third-party status line for Claude Code. It displays model, context, and session information without changing the LAYSO AI endpoint, API key, or billing.

Install CCometixLine

npm install -g @cometix/ccline
ccline --version

Connect it to Claude Code

Add statusLine to ~/.claude/settings.json:

If Claude Code cannot find the global command, replace ccline with its absolute path.

Customize the display

ccline --config

Choose a theme and fields. Keeping the model, context usage, and Git branch usually provides a compact status line.

Verify the status line

1. Exit the current Claude Code session.
2. Start claude again in a project.
3. Confirm that the status line appears.
4. Send one request and check that model and context information updates.

Update or remove

npm update -g @cometix/ccline
npm uninstall -g @cometix/ccline

After uninstalling, delete statusLine from ~/.claude/settings.json.

Security note

CCometixLine is a third-party tool. Review its publisher, source, and permissions before installation. Never place a LAYSO AI API key in status-line commands, themes, screenshots, or logs.

Troubleshooting

Symptom	Resolution
Nothing appears	Validate the JSON and restart Claude Code
ccline not found	Use which ccline and configure the absolute path
Too much content	Run ccline --config and remove fields
Stale values	Update both tools and restart the session
